Our mid December in pics!

Life has been non-stop around here lately! We are hopping from one place to the next..Between slumber party's, birthday's, school performance's, more birthdays, and Christmas right around the corner to say we are busy is an understatement; but we are having fun making new memories!
Here are a few pics from Ellie Kate's school performance...
And some pics from decorating the Christmas tree and a visit with Santa!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas is right around the corner, and I for one,  can not wait! It's my absolute favorite holiday!
Life has been super busy lately, but it's finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Love home!
One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is picking out our tree! I believe it's the kids favorite part too!
Ellie Kate spotted the one she wanted almost immediately and received Jude's approval on it as well.

Nothing but pure joy and excitement on those little faces.

And so.. we took that massive piece of forest laying behind Jude home with us!
Because the tree was slightly taller than what we needed, I asked them to cut the bottom and save the trimmings.
Some of our Christmas decor got ruined during our move; our garland was among that which was ruined.
I searched everywhere and couldn't find the 'perfect' garland, so I decided to take on a DIY project with EK and make my own! It was super easy!
First, I cut the trimmings down to the lengths I needed. Then connected and  secured each piece with wire.

And..Voila!

Happy holidays from our home to yours!

Making memories...Thanksgiving recap.

I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual. It is surprising how contented one can be with nothing definite - only a sense of existence. Well, anything for variety. I am ready to try this for the next ten thousand years, and exhaust it. How sweet to think of! my extremities well charred, and my intellectual part too, so that there is no danger of worm or rot for a long while. My breath is sweet to me. O how I laugh when I think of my vague indefinite riches. No run on my bank can drain it, for my wealth is not possession but enjoyment.- Henry David Thoreau

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here some of my favorite moments making memories with my sweet girl:

McLeod Farms and Mrs. Wilson's 1st grade class!

Today was Ellie Kate's class field trip to McLeod farms in McBee, SC and I got to chaperone!
My mom came all the way up from Yemassee just to keep Jude while I got to hang out with the coolest kids at Lucy T. Davis elementary school and head to the farm to visit the pumpkin patch!
Here are some snap shots from our day:
This was my little group of three for the day!
Our first stop at the farm was here in the cafeteria for a story and some icecream.

Then we took a hay ride to pick some pumpkins!

I loved my group! We had the best time!

After the hay ride we headed back for some lunch then jumped and played around in the hay for a bit!

Check out Quamitri jumping in the background!

These four girls are so precious and full of life! They are quite the little crew!
Somehow we were successful in getting a group pic before we left:
I present to you, Mrs. Wilson's first grade class at Lucy T. Davis elementary school.

Girls just wanna have fun!

If you follow me on Instagram you know I've blown up the news feed the past five days from an amazing weekend with my best!
Who doesn't love a weekend away to relax, laugh, chat, and cut loose with your favorite friend in the whole world! Erika and I spent the weekend living it up at the Chateau Elan winery and vineyard this past weekend!
Before I share the photos of our weekend I just have to say that our friendship is one of those friendships that is unlke any other-we are 'kindred spirits' if you will. Its a friendship where its almost creepy how much we are alike. We think the same things at the same time, say and do things at the same time, and laugh at the fact that at times...we are just plain crazy!
Here are some pics from our trip!
How gorgeous is this place?!

   (And how cute is Erika?!)

We are both artist so we indulged in some art while we were there!

We enjoyed an entire day at the spa getting massages, swimming, and relaxing!

Then finished the day off with an afternoon tea.

We then headed to check out the winery tour.

Someone got married and left a trail of rose petals behind so we of course stopped a minute to 'smell the roses'!

And before we knew it, it was time to head home!
I love this quote that Erika found while we were there. It's so true! And I can't think of a better friend to collect moments with!

I hope everyone has a great week! Xoxo
